DLA Warehouse Renovations – Richmond, VA

Customer: U.S. Army Corp of Engineers

ITL won the 8(a) competitive small business set-aside to renovate an existing warehouse used for material disposition for the Department of Defense at Richmond, VA.  Under this contract, ITL is renovating an existing warehouse used for material disposition for the Department of Defense.  The warehouse is approximately 189,500 Square Foot (SF) with a total of five bays.   

ITL’s specific scope includes  but is not limited to:  

  • Demolition of existing pallet racks, cages, and all associated warehouse equipment
  • Diamond polishing/repairing concrete floors and adding striping
  • Installation of pallet racks, pallet wrapping machines, security cages, conveyors, and dock leveler systems
  • Installation of forklift charging stations with exhaust and eyewash systems
  • Installation of CMU wall for pedestrian walkway
  • Construction of handicap walkway and widening of stairs
  • Sawtooth/rebuilding of concrete loading dock
  • Removal and replacement of lighting to LED
  • Installation of IR heating
  • Installation of large ceiling-mounted fans for ventilation
