USMC Mountain Warfare Training Center Upgrades

Customer: U.S. Navy NAVFAC - U.S. Marine Corps

ITL, as a first-tier subcontractor to AT&T Federal, completed the design and construction of five new E- Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communication sites in various locations throughout the MCMWTC Bridgeport, CA area.

Each communication site was constructed as a standalone facility in remote locations within the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Each site consists of an equipment building, tower, and solar power system with generator backup.  This includes building and tower foundations, propane generator, solar panels with batteries and chargers, fence and associated support features like halo grounding, ice bridge system and propane tanks. The activity included the installation of new HVAC, roofing, interior build-out, and installation of life safety and fire protection systems.  This NAVFAC project was completed on an active training base with minimum disruption to their training schedule.
